Sense Magazine Fall 2011 Editorial Spread

Sense Magazine in Japan will flaunt its Fall 2011 editorial for its August issue with Melker Anderson. This issue shows the styling prowess of Satoshi Moriya, who not only worked on styling but also in directing this editorial campaign. Photographer Junji Hata also did a great job in making the images come alive even with its simple background. The editorial keeps it conventional in terms of style by making the spread youthful with both classic and fashion forward trends. The outerwear choices for the editorial takes the win in our opinion.

This year going back to school is all about going back in time, especially for the vintage connoisseur’s at the Herr Judit shop, who kept their latest style guide classic and smart. Alpha Male Editorial by Esquire

The Alpha Male is back, or should we say he never left. Characters in commercials such as Dos XX’s Most Intersting Man in the World, and Old Spice’s Isiah Mustafa, have been telling men to well, man up! Esquire does the same thing for their September 2011 issue. Using the term Alpha Male, they put together an editorial with men wearing brilliant paired pieces while emphasizing their superiority together with wild animals. Photographer Kate Orne, who’s also in charge of producing the spread trained the wild animals so that these powerful yet amusing stills could be produced. So we ask you, what would be your alpha male power animal?
